A little trick to remember the Katakana シ (shi) and ツ (tsu).
Basically you cancle the ‘head’ of the Hiragana and follow its stroke.
While SHI is the one with the curve from bottom to top,
TSU's goes from top to bottom.
My skills are limited but I hope this helps some people! (´∇ﾉ｀*)ノ
Suprisingly I’m good at shi and tsu, I have a big problem with ち and さ - any tips with that?
I already preordered my limited edition box set! Thank you so much Viz Media for making this possible! This is an absolute dream! Again, this is Part 1 of the first season (episodes 1-23). Viz Media will be releasing all 200 episodes (yes, that includes Sailor Stars), the films, and specials!
(Not to sound like a commercial, but the prices at RightStuf are absolutely unbeatable. I was expecting to spend a lot more than that! Yay for affordable pricing!)
You can view my post introducing the new dub cast here.
Again, this is the preorder for Viz Media's rerelease of the ORIGINAL 90s Sailor Moon anime (not Sailor Moon Crystal). This is uncut which means accurate relationships, genders, etc, and the dub cast is brand new! It’s also entirely remastered! (Yay, pretty colors!)
You can watch subbed episodes of the original Sailor Moon for free now on Hulu and/or Neon Alley with two new episodes added every Monday!

Is there anywhere to order this from the UK easier than from here? I mean, it wants international orders to send a photocopy of my credit card… I don’t feel comfortable with that.
The Pokémon Co. International will launch a web-based Pokémon Center store for U.S. customers Aug. 6, according to a note the company sent to Polygon recently.
Pokémon Centers serve an important purpose in the Pokémon universe — they’re the places where players can heal, manage and trade their Pokémon — but they also exist in real life as retail establishments that sell Pokémon merchandise. The Pokémon Co. opened the first such store in Tokyo in April 1998; that location has since closed, but approximately 10 Pokémon Center stores currently exist in the U.S. and Japan.

Oh I NEED one of these in the UK, or one that ships here at least!
You don’t have to like or watch dubs, and indeed it’s valuable to criticise them to ensure their continued improvement, but some of y’all are just… bullies. There are only two valid concerns you can have over a new dub: the skill & accuracy of the writing and the skill & accuracy of the acting….
I like this because you included the unable to read subs thing - I desperately want my partner to watch sailor moon, we got through about 10 episodes before her eyesight went bad and now she’s partially sighted and can’t read the subs. While we could still watch it, she wont be able to understand it, but we both want her to watch the Japanese version without all censored stuff, so this new dub is quite exciting because it means she can finally watch it, and know there’s nothing she’s missing out on.
If you support gay marriage reblog this. If you’re on the homophobic side, keep scrolling.
Since I kinda abandoned tumblr last year I’ve not felt like I should just come back and start reblogging. So I’m thinking of deleting my account and starting again. Does anyone mind?
